The 40 cell root trainer is an ideal way to propagate seed, cuttings, and plug plants, the set includes 2 sets of 20 cells, 2 watering trays and 2 propagator lid.

The advantage is that they use much less compost, they encourage root growth downwards, so the plants do not become `pot bound`

As the roots are the powerhouse of any plant this means stronger plants, less likely to attack from pests and slugs.

The gap between the `books` of cells and the watering tray allows the hanging roots to drop off or `air prune'.

When it comes time to re plant the books of cells open up so as to not harm the plants or so there is `no check`.

They take up a minimum of space in your green house or potting area.
